I am very encouraged with the feedback I'm receiving from the hotel and resort industry. Bookings, occupancy, weather has been great. Thanksgiving was apparently excellent for all hoteliers. Meristar has got to be benefiting from this. Economy is doing fine. REIT and lodging investors will be forced to jump back in because the fundamentals will start to pick up again. Did you notice Donald Bren is trying to buy Irvine Communities (IAC)on the cheap? That's what I'm afraid of that the Bass Family takes out Meristar and suddently we miss out on the real profits!!!
