When I was at Ridge Lagoon Estates in July the electricity was in, as well as phone lines, with concrete power poles along the main streets. Power and phone lines will be under ground from there to the houses. The land is high and dry because it sits on natural bed of limestone which is under the soil(no swamps) with lots of large trees. All of the stones used for the entrance and for any fill are from the manmade lagoon.(again no swamps) . A very peaceful and beautiful place, I might add. It is situated on a new Highway to Burrell Boom off the main highway. The International airport is only 5-7 minutes away and Belize City is about 15 minutes. There are gas stations close, as well as small stores and other businesses and housing along the highway. It is not as isolated as some people would have you believe. Basically, it will be a suburb of Belize City, gated and private.
