Wow. It's a sunny day here in Oregon. Really Amazing. Well, evening now.
A rare and radiant December day. The sacred chariot wings overhead. Not Santa Claus, you bozos. My cousin says we had 11 1/2 inches of rain in November. I don't drink milk, but picture a gallon jug of milk. Measure one for me. It's probably about eight or nine inches up to the shoulder of the jug, guessing eight and ten to the top, so picture that jug cut off at the bend and almost half another stacked on top.
I can tell you, without going next door, that 1.75 liters of generic alcohol is 12 inches high. So almost that high, but with a cap as big as Oregon. That would be the right color, too. And handy.
Some people here use whiskey barrels for rain barrels. Hmm.
I wonder what I could use. A bathtub maybe. Fill with lotus. Lilies. I have an extra one, but I'm thinking something dynamic. Sculptural. Like if you had a barrel, and the more full it got, raised up a floating foam or wood carved face, or duck or umbrella. Like a turkey thermo. A STOP! sign would be good. |
