Maybe using Tom's list of ten is the smart thing to do.

...or not. I recall that Tom's top ten earlier this year included Cendant, LSI Logic and a couple more which were chopped in half (or more) by the time we bottomed out in early Oct. The gains since Oct. in his top ten may merely be reflective of the fact that a few of them had farther to recover and have, to a large extent, done so. Just proves that we're all mortal.<gg>

In any event, I believe JD and TM collaborate on these lists though clearly TM spends the lion's share of his time on fundamental research while JD plays the 'elder statesman' role.
