Charles, I'm still checking. It seems that you are correct that there was a shipping bug in the JIT, and I was wrong that it was only beta. My apologies. It evidently occurs in some reasonably obscure circumstance. I don't have details, but it is not as simple as 1 * 2. It was not caught by any of the math tests (Sun's or Microsoft's), seems to happen in some factorial test, and was not seen in any code for a year after IE 4.0 shipped. I have also been told that there will be a fix very soon. Thanks, Mike
