Steve, Very good article, but absolutely nothing new to me. I've been well cognizant of this aura around the PP for the last 3 months at least. Like I said, before, I can't wait till I can load my Linux OS on it. (btw...front page Washington Post yesterday had an article about how popular Linux is becoming; just think about it for a second - has there ever been a major newspaper that has run a front page article about the technical aspects of a software program, much less an operating system?... of course Wash/Balt area is very rich with software programmers, possibly even moreso than Silicon Valley, but different applications) The only thing that's surprising as of late, is that it seems we will be making our first Million from the Palm Pilot rather than 3Com network equipment.:-) It's looking more and more like '99 will be the year of the Palm Pilot...killer app of '99. Your kids will one day ask you, "what was life like without a Palm Pilot?". The same way you asked grandpa, "what was life like without tv?" Rest up and get well soon! joe
