I need some advice:

After holding on to CPQ for the past 15 months (USUALLY AT A LOSS), I decided to learn a bit about covered calls and sold the Dec 37.5's about 3 weeks ago. Yes, I know that there were a whole slew of upgrades, but it didn't appear to boost the value of the stock valuation.

My question to this post is what would be an appropriate next step.

Should I buy back the Dec 37.5's (if they have not been exercised during the weekend) and sell Jan 40's or 45?

Should I ride it out and see if there is some retreat, or perhaps another (unlikely scenario?) would be that there won't be anyone to actually exercise these options.

Sincere opinions are most welcome.

Thanks, and good luck to all (especially me)

David
