Mad2, I just reviewed the Time & Sales for DLIA on the 3'rd.

At 9:37, when your order processing began, the quote on DLIA was 11 1/2 x 11 3/4. It was last bid at 12 at 9:33, 4 minutes earlier. Did it take you that long to enter your order? If not, then perhaps there was a delay in Datek's quotes.

It started a steep decline right about the time you entered your order. However, even 5 minutes later, it was still bid at 11. The worst part of the plunge didn't occur until the second 5 minutes after you placed your order.

At 9:40, when you placed your SHRP order, SHRP was quoted at 14 1/16 x 14 1/4. The last time it was bid at 14 3/8 was at 9:39. This was in the middle of a fairly steep decline (not as bad as DLIA.) At 9:47, when your order was completed, it had actually started to RISE again. Had they dragged their feet a bit longer, you might have gotten as much as 14 1/2. :(

News reports have suggested that ISLD represents a significant part of the volume in these issues, and that suggests that there is NO excuse for these delays. I would guess that your orders were almost certainly executed on ISLD, and THAT suggests that perhaps ISLD is in as much a need for server upgrades as Datek itself.
