Yeah, another product enhancement release that few investors can understand. Yet I agree it seemed to to help the price advance. Shows you what I know. The heart of the announcement looks like the MAP enhancements for SONETLYNX. This could be real now that MOT has certified SONETLYNX. I wish they could deliver OC-48 now instead of later. I wish I knew more about how they are marketing SONTELYNX, because up to now it has just looked like a niche product aimed at internal networks that need conventional mixed protocols (especially with surveillance video) w/o relying on the telcos for reliability, security etc. Clearly ICOM wants the ISP's to look at the product but where is the marketing organization that can make that happens even if the product lives up to advertizing. I think it was the CEO of Netscape that said "I've always believed that the main thing in business is to make sure that the main thing stays the main thing." I wish ICOM could decide what the main thing is for them and push hard enough to carve out a real and sustainable market for it.
