I wonder if Harris's AuthenTec would be for sale. Harris was the largest printing press manufacturer in the US and based in Cleveland. They realized that electronics were the place to be so they developed their electronic company in Florida over the last 25 years and this is now their headquarters. They have dabbled in AFIS and other areas of the fingerprint industry. AuthenTec might be a separate company but I would think Harris Management keeps a close eye and probably some ownership of the company. I believe that the only way that the company would be for sale is if Harris is giving up on the fingerprint business. Ron
