Posting the cable penetration rates as a sign of future direction of cable vs, ADSL is truely missing the point. It is the box manufactures who will lead the world into high speed internet access, and they could care less whether it is cable or telephone. Take a look at the Dell 3Com release 2 days ago.. in the box interchangeable modems that will support both. You know have both CPQ and Dell, the two largest box companies putting ADSL in the box. The others will soon follow...
