OJ,

If you are looking for a book on the technical analysis of many, many p&f chart patterns and their interpretations, I recommend Carroll Aby's book on P&F: "Point & Figure Charting : The Complete Guide". Aby's book has numerous chart patterns with traditional as well as his improved indicators explained in detail. It includes chapters on support/resistance and trendlines like those that Bruce and Eric refer to.

Tom's book is a good book, a standard, and required reading to understand the terms used in this thread. It explains, in detail, Tom's method of using p&f as part of his investment methodology. It just does not have as much purely pattern analysis as Aby's book does.

I have direct links to these and 8 other books on point and figure charting in the bookstore section of my web site.

Stop by, look them over.

Ben A.
