AR, I was agreeing with you on the bond folks. I think the reason is, bonds are mainly an institutional game and individuals don't play much. Also, having managed both bond and equity portfolios and slamma jamma-ed both to clients, there is so much more you can say about equities. Once you get past economic predictions that underlie your interest rate assumption, and a couple of bows toward maturity, sector and quality spreads, the game is over for bonds. Unless, of course, you enhance them with options and futures.

But I can talk forever about different types of equities and the multitude of factors that control their prices.
