Doug, You've made so many important and relevant points. I'm just getting ready to sit down and watch ARMY - NAVY, then have to get ready to go to work. Would love to make a point by point comment on all you have said but, briefly, I want to say, "I agree!" Discipline is so important in following an investment philosophy. Preparation is just as important. I can fully appreciate why you would take months, indeed years, to follow P&F before you would implement it. Although I agree with your conclusion about the present NYSE-BP, I am ambivalent now as to making any immediate further commitments to the stock market with the Investors Intelligence % Bulls so high. What is your take on this? Also, you must be very dedicated as to make this post at 4:24AM on a Saturday morning. With such dedication, you can bet I will pay close attention to what you say.....
