Arya, I have some questions into Mark Lipscom regarding inventory. Here is what I believe to be true.

In 2Q96 400,000 units produced, 200,000 units shipped (inventory > 200,000 units)
In 3Q96 781,250 units produced, 250,000 units shipped (inventory > 731,250 units)
In 4Q96 TBD units produced, 575,000 units shipped.

Current thinking is that Cyrix is producing 500,000 to 600,000 units per quarter (due to die shrinks from 2Q).

I think that 1Q96 had at least 100,000 units go into inventory because production didn't go from 200,000 units to 400,000 units in a single step.

If you assume that current production is 500,000 units per quarter and only 50,000 units were in inventory in 1Q96, then there must be 706,000 chips in inventory. The minimum number of chips is 656,000 chips and the maximum is 800,000 chips.

If you assume that the chips cost 50 each, the quantity in inventory is 500,000 units.
