Aha! Now I understand the problem you are having with my analysis. You are assuming that better opportunities for using the cash may exist (other than the risk-free rate of return), and I am assuming that no better investment exists. So I will take the easy way out and argue that each of us is correct given his own set of assumptions. TTFN, CTC
