Dan, John and Sam. Thank you for your comments concerning Peter at Rome. I don't believe Rome was ever considered Babylon as the literal Babylon has been found in Iraq.
I am also curious about the Council of Nicene, because I am told that it was comprised of not only Christian priests, but priests that worshipped the sun god and other antichrist beliefs. I believe the different rituals ascribed to our Church today came from these meetings. One example was changing the day of worship to Sunday because of one of their other religions worshiping the Sun god.
It is also said that Constantine was never baptised into Christianity until a priest did it when he was unconscious on his deathbed.

I know we all should be interested enough in the pure Word of God to separate the traditions of man from the true Word of our Lord and His disciples.

Thanks to you all for answering.

Santiago
