El: I read the IBD article - nothing new. It talks about how DELL has teamed up with CSCO and COMS, and CPQ with LU in an effort to push the glories of high speed internet access. There's not a big demand for it yet because many don't have high speed access and many consumers think it's too expensive. But everyone figures that before the end of '99 about 50% of consumers will have access. Talks about phone and cable companies duking it out for marketshare - "analysts" say cable will win.
