re: trading Rambus. Good Luck. I guess it was tradable back when it was in that saw-tooth range between 45 and 70. Some people were capturing those swings. But, that wasn't "day" trading per-se. Rambus does have large intraday ranges and I suppose a good trader could capitalize. But, like I say--good luck. RMBS has confounded most who attempted it.

I was thinking when RMBS crossed 72 that it was a no-brainer for a good move up from there. I thought optimistically $90-93, mostly because of other stocks that I've seen break from similar, long-term saw-tooths.

Where it goes from here I don't know, but I've got a good chunk of my buying power in it. It's being tested right now with news about a competing memory gaining support in the industry, but I'm not sure that the story has changed. It seems to me that someone who daytrades a stock simply because it is volatile and is not familiar with the story being played out is at a disadvantage. And that's not what you want when you're playing against the "dealer".
