I noticed that inside the profile on yahoo of lu they show positive ttm earnings biz.yahoo.com of .74 giving a p/e of 118.46. Other ratios: price/book of 23.56, price/sales 3.84.

Using your figure of 2.05 for 1999 earnings it is trading at a p/e of 46.71 on next year's estimate. That is not value to me.

Do you see that I am saying your stock tool box will be stronger if you can come up with some parameters of what good value is to you, and then use those to compare with what Mr. Market's opinion is?
