Well remember you are not counting guys, you are counting bits, and the bandwidth is only limited by imagination as to applications, implementations and demand. So what I think you are faced with is the pressure of the as yet to be applications that will live in the space created by the higher speed access ports. So the backbone bandwidth requirements will grow roughly proportionally to the compounded growth rates of added users, the growth rate of access bandwidth and the growth rate in the number of hours users are on line.
