BUY WHOLESALE NOT RETAIL Personally, I love the whole idea of being given the opportunity to get in on these hot new issues during the early stages. There have been many times that I have looked longingly at some of the IPO's that my broker offered only to be disappointed because I didn't have the $100,000 minimum to participate in the offerings and the prices at the open for those IPO's were already so high that I didn't want to take a chance on them changing direction and going down on profit taking. Wouldn't you rather hold those shares from the bottom instead of buying in at or near the top and then having to hold them for months or even years before recovering your losses?
