I use AOL and an IP. I use the IP to access the net and AOL to get quick information and check up stock message boards. I think both will prosper side by side. I am concerned about the progresively slow access times for "free" web sites. SI can really get bogged down at peak hours. Will this get worse before it gets better? I've heard, and correct me if I am wrong, that part of the cause of net slowdown are Netphone programs. Bandwidth hogs. Its not going to get better anytime soon. Netscape 3 will come packaged with its own internet phone program. IMHO this could crash the net. To me time is money. I get quick service with AOL. Not only that, I've made a bundle on this great stock :).
