Fernandes and Alberthal might have many achievements at EDS but dealing with Wall Street was certainly not their strong suit. I think their biggest failure was the arrogance with which they took huge salaries and bonuses for a dismal performance. They missed the earnings forecast most quarters and even sold real estate to pump up the numbers. EDS would never permit this kind of performance in the ranks.

I agree that any new management would be a plus. EDS has a tremendous potential with their global position and market dominance. Unfortunately, it is being squandered by management that has no credibility.
