Hi stockroach,

As close as I can tell Savage 2 is the bug free release that Savage should have been. Virtually every Savage review I've read had a "Nice chip but..." flavor. On hind sight, it's probably not that hard to figure out why there weren't any major OEMs that wanted to include it as part of their systems. Computers have enough nasty habits without putting in a buggy graphic chip. A Savage without the bugs should be a nice OEM part. Too bad S3 managed to waste another 9 months with sloppy execution of what should have been the perfect come back product. I get the impression that OEMs prefer stability to cutting edge performance.

I'm also a bit surprised at the lack of PR coming out of Potashner. Turn around CEOs I've seen in the past tend to do a little political campaigning. Interviews on CNBC, etc. with lots of fluff about the new revitalized company and so forth. Perhaps someone should poke him with a stick to see why he isn't moving?

Nice execution on the 6 1/8. I sold some calls that day but the less conservative move was the better play. I still like SIII in the long run but I agree it's probably dead money for a few more months.

Regards,

Don
