I never got the impression that the Moral Majority people really supported Colin Powell. He came out as populist on most issues, basically the same as Bush. Whatever the polls said on most issues, he abided by. The Democrats used a number of scare tactics to try to mobilize the black vote during the election. The latest false rumor they've been spreading is that the blacks lose the right to vote in seven years.
