HYPE a definition..Something deliberately misleading deception, exaggerated or extravant claims.. I don't think a stock that appreciates 500%(ONSL,MALL) in 10 trading sessions qualifies for hype nor do I think that a stock that appreciates 300% in 10 tradings session qualifies. I don't think anyone on this thread deliberately misled anyone into buying anything. Lots of threads were debating these stocks at the time of the runups, They were also analysing and predicting entry levels and it engendered a "I want in" attitude. I think it is the rise of the stock themselves that fueled the enthusiasm rather than any claims by any one individual.

It was an enthusiasm generated by actual events, namely the incredible run-ups themselves. To stop discussing these exciting stocks should not be the way to go. We just need to temper our enthusiasm with a shot of reality and understand that 'easy comes easy goes' is the way of some of these internet stocks. I have no doubt they will continue their volatility and as long as we all know the risks we can partake in the rewards...
