Yeah, Jean Lafitte is the right name. The fighters he supplied in the Battle of New Orleans are sometimes called Baratarians, probably a reference to where they were living. As I understand it, Lafitte supplied the artillery which General Jackson needed. If Jean indeed had heavy guns at his disposal, I suspect he may have been living up to his reputation as being more than just an entrepreneur.

So what were you doing in little old Buras? On your way to The Jump?
