Sorry if I offended, I meant to be kidding. It's just that where the stock price is relative to its former position is not a factor in Buffet or value thinking, as you noted in your eloquent response.
Boeing is a 'franchise' for sure, though Airbus is becoming a stronger competitor every year it seems.
The thing about Boeing, to me, is that the company will be around.
There will be more promising times ahead, when the Asian market revives.
So, I'm with you on Boeing, was just surprised to see the 50% off bit.
