Very interesting. Who needs these guys anymore. Just a PR firm to promote you and you can sell your own music on-line. The music stations will play what is hot. I look for a big group to rebel and start their own distribution over the Internet. The interent will kill all middle men.

OT - one of the biggest areas to get hit hard will be insurance - all kinds. It is simply a computation based on actuarial tables - easily programmed. No need to pay for the buildings, sales agents, golf outings, etc. The only thing holding it back are the regulators. I recently used the internet to find a local property ins co and subsequently reduced my bill from just over $2,000 per year to $1,300. This is only the beginning.
