I don't have time or patience for nonsense.

It amazes me that anyone could have the time or patience to get excited over the role of Gnosticism at the council of Nicea. Perhaps a consequence of being raised among medievalists, but I feel my eyes glazing over at the mere mention. As a subject for casual discussion, perhaps, but a difficult subject to ague over. It always comes down to "my source is better than your source", and you can find all sorts of authoritative sources to support either side. Who knows which of them is right? I'm tempted as well to ask who cares.
