It's good to see the action here in this thread, people providing helpful leads to good DRIPs, etc. Last summer we actually swapped with two friends, even up, two shares of Intel for a share each of Nucor Steel and Motorola -- that's when all three were about in the same price range. Intel has nearly _tripled_ since then! I have been interested in Equifax but my wife absolutely won't hear of it. Apparently they had a bad screwup on a record for her some time ago and she won't have anything to do with them, regardless of whether or not it's a good investment. Almost the same as MO to her! :-( Another industrial we've watched and thought about is Timken, but someone mentioning Diebold the other day reminded me I like that company too, so I think our next DRIP acquisition will be one of those two.
