Robert, PLEASE listen to the tape, reread the posted financials, and then recalc your figures. This thread and MSN are so slow that I may have missed a response but ---- gimme a break! Cyrix said how much they had in inventory, that it was all "current" production at about 170K units in various stages and they reported a $24M cost on their BS. With the 200+ in most demand and a 50/50 blend, that's goiung to jhack up margins to the moon.

Cyrix paid a ton for .5u chips during Q1 and Q2, eventually sold them in Q4 at the lowest prices in history (and absorbed those losses in a single quarter) and still managed to beat the street. Their inventory is now all fast .35u chips worth twice as much on average with a lower average cost -- presold and waiting for ceramics so that they can deliver.

They chopped their A/R, raised cash, and did all manner of things consistent with a "growth company". Plus -- Cyrix expects to sell 2-3M "gx" chips next year, increasing numbers of 686 chips and will have the M2 in-hand on time (running Windows well already). Add predictions for s growth on all fronts with a 10-point-plus increase in profit margins and you have a major improvement.

Looks like I am going to have to exercise those Feb 25s..

Craig
