There is much talk about the stock dropping during the quiet period when CREAF stops buying it. I don't think that this will necessarily happen, but I do think it is more and more likely the longer CREAF sits steady at 17. If investors start to see the stock resume its move upward (partially due to the company demonstrating confidence in the future by buying heavily before the quiet period), I think the stock might actually continue to rally on its own (provided the market behaves). All CREAF needs is some momentum and a show of confidence by the company to keep long term investors from bailing and to attract new investors as we continue through this strong retail Christmas season.

If they are in a position to pre-announce some good news before they stop buying (during quiet period), then the should make sure and do so ASAP.

Finally, to those who think the stock will drop during the quiet period.....it could happen (would be a bad sign but could happen, especially if the results are in doubt). In any case, if it drops from 17 or if it drops from 20 makes a big difference IMO. If it does start dropping, I think the resting point will be higher if the starting point is higher.

Good luck to all,

FF
