Chee, the blowoff proportion I was referring to was the one that happened to Zitel ... Viasoft was no way near it ... I think, it may be a while before we see another Y2K stock blow off like Zitel ... a lot of bulls and bears are still nursing their wounds, for being left holding the bag, and for missing the greatest shorting opportunity ... Looking back at Zitel, I could have played its upside too by going long, selling covered calls, selling another naked call as it moves up, repeating the process as it moves up ... and buying some out of the money puts with the huge premium from those calls written ... then once it starts heading down fast, start selling the longs ... Zitel was the perfect blowoff stock because of the availability of options, the huge premium due to the volatility.
