Les, you may have missed the point of my post. The real issue here is that religion used to provide quality, free entertainment for the masses in the form of witch burnings and the like. In that way, the religious houses "paid their way" in society. Look what we have today... 100MM for a swarzenegger movie, etc, the cost is enormous. Not to mention the fact that some of these expensive films are duds - whereas your average torture or burning festival is almost guaranteed to entertain. I say, the next unknown visitor to this thread gets declared a witch (or warlock) and we all loudly proclaim this as we drag the individual through the virtual town square here at SI. Once we yell "witch!" enough times, people will believe it. Just like the monty python movies. I think I saw JLA wearing one of those warlock capes I once saw on Bewitched, too. Ive taken the precaution of spraypainting all the black kitties white lest they be associated with the evil witch element that is no doubt lurking. BTW theres no such thing as a blonde witch.
