As much as I'd like to see a merger (with Sony or any other) such as what you have posted, for reason of a huge short term bounce, I'm somewhat "sentimentally selfish". This company have made great strides as you know and although the market is not as wide open as it used to be two years ago when Dell pushed the pedal, the rules have changed with the burgeoning Internet industry... and the year 2K problem for the big companies dependent on LAN/Intranet for their daily operations. MUEI can and should make inroads which obviously will turn to profits.

Product recognition... I'd like to see them do more on that front. I do a lot of web browsing and seldom do you see Micron,... CPQ on the other hand is making a conscious effort on the promotion of "we'll build you abox theme...". Why anyone would buy a disposable, difficult to upgrade PC is hard for me to fathom.
