Hawkeye: You provide a link to a post on MF that claims I am spreading lies. What lies, pray tell? All I was doing was quoting from the Hydrogen & Fuel Cell Letter, a source that you always find plenty reliable when it has something positive to say about Ballard. When it says something negative, then it is lying? That is typical of your thinking, or what passes for "thinking" when you are involved.

For example, I seen to remember a post of yours here bubbling over with enthusiasm about the work some professors at Northeastern U. were doing on graphite nanofibers, which supposedly would allow fuel cell cars to store thousands of miles worth of hydrogen, based on an article in H&FC Letter. The current issue says that Daimler stopped all support of that project. Ahhh... let me guess.... your copy of the letter was lost in the mail, that is why you didn't mention it again.

How about the article in the current issue entitled "Toyota: First Commercial Fuel Cell Car Likely to be 2-3 Times as Pricey as Gas-Burner". This covered a long interview with Akihiro Wada, Toyota's Exec. VP of R&D, who, among other things, is in charge of an active fuel cell R&D program.

I can see it now "Buy a Mercedes Sedan, $45,000 for the regular one, or $100,000 for the same car with a fuel cell engine, that you can only fill up in a few places that have methanol tanks". That'll go over big.

Mr. Wada says it will probably be at least 30 years before the premium for fc cars will be brought down to only 20%; that is when they will start to get popular, he says. Maybe Ballard isn't overpriced based on its multiple of its earnings in the year 2028 - I hadn't thought of that.

So is Toyota and Mr. Wada part of my conspiracy with the H&FC Letter to spread lies?

As to the issue of where I post under what name, I think that is pretty funny coming from a person named "Hawkeye". I could ask "What is your real name? Where else do you post?" but I really don't care. I think the important thing is the content of the post, not the name at the top.

Your content is, and has always been, useless. You are a mindless cheerleader for a stock you are in love with, and anyone who points out facts or logic to the contrary, is a liar. If you have some reason to think that the H&FC Letter is not telling the truth, then post it; if not, then stop calling people names.
