"if funds really got interested we would have a 20 dollar stock"

SOME ARE AND WE WILL.

"Unfortunately the market cap is too small for any fund of any size to take a position."

PROBABLY TRUE, WHICH SUGGESTS THAT THE TWO PARTIES TRYING TO BUY LAST WEEK MAY BE VERY SMALL FUNDS OR PERHAPS PRIVATE PARTNERSHIPS OR OTHER ENTITIES. EVEN A LITTLE FUND BUYING 20-30,000 SHARES MIGHT HIKE THE STOCK PRICE SEVERAL POINTS.

"We have to rely on retail investors."

NOT REALLY... BUT YOU DO NEED RETAIL INVESTORS (sometimes a euphemism for "uninformed" investors) TO JUMP ON A BANDWAGON IN ORDER TO CREATE A MANIA, LIKE THE RECENT INTERNET STUFF.

Ooops... since I'm not responding to quotes anymore, I'll type normally. IMO once the stock has climbed a few more points, there may be an article on it in IBD or WSJ, II, etc. Or some intrepid analyst will say "Duhhh... 70 cents or more for the quarter?" and bravely initiate coverage well after we've all doubled our money. Anyway, SOMETHING will occur that will focus attention on the company, and then there may just be a parabolic rise as the late-arriving small investors pile on.

BTW, does anyone else think that Furby is just plain stupid-looking? (Quite unlike the scientifically-engineered-to-be-cute Pikachu.) Furby looks like some kind of bird, maybe an owl, but what is it supposed to be? What's the appeal here? Someone put together a masterful PR campaign to convince parents that it's "THE" Hot Toy of the Year, but I don't know any kids (especially my guys) who have any interest in it. When Furby Fever is a distant memory, Pokemon will be up there in the Pantheon of Great Toy Success Stories with the Ninja Turtles and Power Rangers. (Beanie Babies are in a category of their own.) And plush Pikachus will make lots of kids throw their old ratty Barneys in the back of the closet.
