CB,>>>The world is full of lunatics, and they all have phones, and pretty soon they will all be on the internet. <<<

Andy Grove, former CEO of Intel, is talking about 1 billion connected computers and some of those (maybe quite a few) will be operated by lunatics - that is to be expected. Some of those connected computers will be operated by intellectuals - and there is no way to stop that either. But, collectively - the world is not crazy. Collectively the world will not put up with the Hitlers, the Saddams, and other creeps. Collectively, in the ultimate democracy, there is a wisdom even the intellectuals will have to deal with and somehow find respect for.

There will be those that will ask, just like in that thermos joke of yours - how are the masses going to know what is right and what is wrong or what is good and what is bad - trust me, they will know.

Mary
