Dorsett, I agree, I don't know why people get involved talking negatively about a stock if they don't own it, I have come to the conclusion that some of these people are just market makers and shorters playing with inexperienced investors. This is getting pretty common on the net, especially with market makers. They use other peoples address to post negative comments so that the price of the stock can be manipulated. I have talked with some people who follow net threads about stocks so that they can simply short the stock, in other words, when a stock is being hyped on the net, it is really easy for them to post rumours and unsubstantiated data through false names to manipulate the price of a stock downward.
