Vic, You know things are happening when you get home from work and realize you are going to have to take a nap about half-way through the last 8 hours of posts. No nap though, far too much good info. Not to mention what appears to be a wonderful chili recipe. And I like it hot!
Thanks to you, Raleigh and all the others who make this thread so intriguing.
Now, having been kind, let me switch gears for a second. Please get off the "market-maker collusion screw the investor" podium. I know that it may occur, and in fact probably has to a degree. I know that the SEC is/will be implementing new rules over the next 12 months or so that should level the playing field. In the meantime, it's like complaining about bad weather; doesn't do any good. Granted, there is some value in knowing how they operate, but the MM's can also lose money on any thinly traded stock, particularly one that is as volatile as Ftel. Keep in mind too that we have gone from under 1.50 to over 2.00 in a matter of weeks. That's a 33% jump. If they want to keep the price depressed, they are not doing a very good job lately. And if that is their goal, I think it will become increasingly difficult for them as 1997 unfolds. <VERY BIG GRIN>.
Finally, before we move to the 10 dollars and under board, could you deactivate your Caps key? <g>
Best to all...
