Al, you are correct about information announced that might cause the stock to move quickly to the upside or downside which technical indicators cannot predict......If you are a fundamentalist(sounds religious) or a technical analyst, that situation is out of our control......As you know stocks travel in trends....My technical indicators help me to spot a trend that I can ride, and I need history on price and volume to do that....Further, many a time the stock price and volume move before any good news or bad news is announced...I can be there before the fundamental crowd takes their position.....I know a lot of people think that TA on small stocks is a waste of time and hard to calculate...But I am one of those who am sold on this method of stock picking....Regards, Mark
