We've both been long time followers of AMEN; by far AMEN has given me my best gains since I've participated in the market. From your posts, I gather you haven't done too badly yourself.
Ever since participating on these threads, I have never read a more callous post as the one you most recently wrote regarding " greater fools " who recently bought into AMEN at loftier levels than you or I.
I wouldn't even be commenting on your remarks if callous were all they were. But they are, imo, potently and potentially wrong headed as well. Twice before I was called the " greater fool " when I bought both Messrs. Earthlink and Lycos shortly after their first splits this past year. It seemed that within minutes after I bought the stocks they headed south and I'm not talking just to Florida ( especially Lycos ); try Terra Del Fuego. Both times I was tempted to sell based upon certain "admonishments" by those in " the know," who sounded alot like you did moments ago---the most perfect of market timers. Curious how that always happens after the fact and not before when such pearls of exquisite forthought could have benefited those who you now promptly, er, advise. Good timing there. Yep.
Sure, AMEN, Lycos and EarthLink are not the same companies---and not just from their market caps but there are, imo, enough similarities to go around the block twice ( especially Lycos )outweighing the differences.
BTW, since Lycos and Earthlink plummeted after I bought, they both came soaring back and with a vengeance I didn't even anticipate. What a fool I was.
