Hello all, sorry, I was back on Tuesday, but had problems with the old Ethernet. Still do actually, I'm in the ol' Vaughn computer lab now.
So does anyone have any great picks for '97?
A friend of mine said Woodroast Systems, but every time I read that Forbes article I say to myself that it will be $1 in a couple of months, and probably 0 over a couple years even if the stock price ever recovers.
It's funny, I was up over 30% for the year until mid-October when I started posting on SI, and I ended up closing out the year down a whopping 44%. That's terrible.
I've found what I believe to be a good stock now and I bought it on the first trading day of the year. When I get Ethernet capability back in my room, I will post what it is and I'll track it through the year. Even if it does well however, I'll still be poor unless it doubles or something.
This stock isn't in it, but my interest these days is in natural resources. I've quit the Commerce School and have decided to double-major in economics and environmental science. I never wanted to be a true business type anyway.
