To C. Stuart: Yes. Your point is also well taken. But I was agreeing that the high level PE's that LU and CSCO have, give both a huge advantage right now in using their stock as "currency" in buyout bids. Nortel's stock price means that Nortel is forced to offer more in stock (and therefore more real value) than the other two. I do agree that I personally think this disadvantage is temporary and that Nortel will be bid up in the future toward the PEs the others have and that will make investing in NT now a much superior investment right now than the other two. But this is just IMO. And some people, such as my wife, have pointed out that I have been wrong now and then in my life.:-) Chaz
