Don, I've webnapped this post from the Globalstar other thread for info. I've always thought Iridium might get canned before they spend big time and this is the first serious comment to that effect!!!

Motorola keeps scrubbing their launches and according to last Fri WSJ, they have conceded third world to GSTRF. Today they announced that the launches will be postponed another 2 wks. Apparently they need $750 million in 45 days for Iridium or it can't pay its bills and there seems to be growing skepticism rather their business plan can generate adequate revenues to recover project cost. Reading between the lines, they may be scrubbing the project leaving GSTRF as the clear leader. They have already scrubbed a big portion so things are looking good for GSTRF.

Don, you never did ask us all to stop the rain!! I guess you were so pleased at the time that it seemed a silly suggestion. You were warned!! What do you reckon? You want an incantation for rain relief? Meanwhile weee haaaa!!!! for Globalstar.
