JF, that's the point i'm trying to make. I love Micron puters, but for most consumers, a circuit city or wal-mart or best buy is the place they will buy a computer. yes, you and i probably know more than the salesman at the store, but mr and mrs jones buying a computer for johnnie or for their home, want to be made comfortable in buying a computer. sounds like you got a great deal. i recently bot an hwp 266 AMD with 48 ram, 4 gig HD, 56 K modem, 32x cd rom, no monitor or printer, for 600 on onsale auction site. sounds like you did better. larry
