Scott McNealy said a number of things 1) we view ourselves on the "networking computing model" ie when we sell lots of servers we tend to sell a lot of clients...2) Next week SUNW is going heavily into the high-end server market. 3)This summer SUNW is going heavily into the low-end server market. 4)Sunw is a pure play in sparc/solaris/java computing (risk/unix/web computing) and this is a profitable envirnoment. 5)SUNW covers a broad-base, intergrated, high quality envirnoment..."smart card to supercomputer"! 6) Margins have been great in the high end server market and yet SUNW is able to be very competitive with prices and still show improving margins. 7)SUNW's prices and quality are unbeatable! 8)SUNW is shipping java software licenses... 9)Corp. executives do have an alternative to "desktop hairballs" ...they can keep their present hardware, not upgrade, but rather "side-grade" and use a java-based browser ie move from a computing architecture to a JAVA-WEB base architecture and forget the "desktop hairball"!!!!
