I buy R-144 (restricted shares). My money goes straight into the company, I get the stock at half of the market price. I get the certificate from the company. The certificate is written out of the authorized shares that the company has not released into the market. The only restriction is that I have to hold the shares 12 months before I consider selling them. Previously I always bought the shares on the open market. I am long on NHLT so 12 months is nothing.
